BOCA RATON/FL – USA: Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) was thrown into mourning early Sunday morning October 8 by the passing of executive member Aijaz Qureshi. The elder in the Qureshi family was the bigger brother of chairman of CCUSA Mahammad Qureshi and had left Karachi Pakistan and settled into Boca Raton for the past few decades.  Aijaz was ailing for a while and although he put up a brave fight he succumbed on Saturday. CCUSA to host Legends tournament in Grenada

Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) will host a Legends cricket tournament in Grenada from November 4 to 11 at the National Stadium. That’s according to news coming from CCUSA’s headquarters in Margate, Florida.  The tournament which is for players over 50 will see five teams battling for the first prize. Hyderabad Deccans dethroned defending champions Team USA to capture the 2023 Chicago MCL title on Sunday evening at Warren Park. Batting first USA made 104/5 off their allotted 14 overs.
