MARGATE/FL – USA: Chairman of Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) continued his powerful messages to the masses Friday saying that frontline workers should be cherished and appreciated.
Speaking to News 925 the Fort Lauderdale resident said: “I wish to applaud all frontline workers for the outstanding, exceptional and patriotic service to our great country the United States of America.
I salute these exemplars who risk their lives on a daily basis to save mankind from this deadly COVID 19 virus. I thank you all very much for your efforts and sacrifices and urge everyone to continue this great work.”
Qureshi has led from the front as very early in the response to the virus he donated T20 Energy drinks to frontline workers in Fort Lauderdale. He also bought cricket bats in an auction with the funds going towards making frontline workers comfortable.
The father of four also added that he is starting a project to sell 10,000 signed bat which would rake in around US$300,000 and this would go towards assisting frontline workers with necessary PPE as they tackle this pandemic.
“We will continue to do our best at CCUSA to bring some kind of relief. We are in for the long haul and we would like to let the frontline workers know that they are in our thoughts and prayers.”
