MARGATE/FL – USA: Teams interested in playing at the USA Nationals Maq T10 and the 2020 US Open T20 tournament can do so through Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) websites.
Chairman and CEO of CCUSA Mahammad Qureshi has mentioned that although the COVID 19 pandemic is still around, plans for the future must be put in place.
“We need to be positive. I always preach being positive to all my compatriots and everyone I come into contact with. At the moment the battle against this COVID 19 pandemic seems enormous and one may be thinking if we will ever return to normalcy.
“We have to look at all the little positives we are seeing in some countries around the world and take advice from the medical professionals here in America and we will flatten the curve. We just have to be disciplined, stay at home, practice hygiene and remain positive.
“I am urging all the cricket clubs, administrators, out there as you have the time right now firm up your teams and get registered. The USA Nationals Maq T10 was carded for April 16 to 19. This has been shifted to a date to be announced in September. We are hopeful that by that time all will be well in terms of us getting over this dreadful chapter in our history.
“We have carded the US Open T20 for December and this will be the 12th edition of the very popular tournament. Just go on our website, register and you can contact us for all details.”
The US Open T20 tournament is the 6th most popular T20 league in the world.
