USA Nationals T10 carries $100k first prize

MARGATE/FL – USA: Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) continues to move the game forward in the United States and is now offering a first prize of US$100,000 for the 2023 Maq/USA Nationals that is carded for October 21 to 23 at the Central Broward Regional Park.

The decision to offer a first prize of US$100,000 was made by the executive of CCUSA the parent body on Tuesday. In a meeting at Boca Raton it was decided to offer the biggest prize in T10 history in the United States.

A total of 10 teams will be allowed to take part in the tournament and the registration is US$10,000. Chairman of CCUSA Mahammad Qureshi says that there is value in all tournaments and he wants to make this T10 a big event. “We are offering US$250,000 for the US Open T20 this year and now we have decided to go further and bring the T10 up to US$100,000.

“It gives team owners an opportunity to invest and make a serious return on their investment here. The players have all been working very hard in perfecting their game and they too will be reward with such good prizes available now.”

The first time T10 was played was in 2014 and it has grown from strength to strength. This year’s event promises to be the biggest and best.
