MARGATE/FL – USA: Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) has opened registration for the 2023 US Open T20 tournament that is to take place at the Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale from December 8 to 16.
Teams wishing to take part in the tournament that carries prizes in range of US$250,000 are asked to contact Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) to express their interest.
Those interested can go to the link http://cricketusopen.com/team/ and indicate their willingness to play. Teams will be offered a five year license and only 10 teams will be taken on a first come, first served basis.
The registration fee is US$25,000. These is an initial deposit fee of US$5,000 and the deadline to pay this is June 30. The balance of US$20,000 must be paid before September 30. If a team decides not to come after their initial US$5,000 payment then their funds would be forwarded to the next year. Only if the tournament is canceled or suspended by the US Open committee would be granted.
