MARGATE/FL -USA: The Legends T20 Cup will be played in Dubai from September 26 to 30 this year.
This was announced by chairman of Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) Mahammad Qureshi on Thursday. The matches will be played at Dubai 7 cricket ground and will see four teams taking part. Battling for the title will be West Indies, USA, UAE and World XI.
The format of the tournament will see a round-robin phase followed by the top two teams going to the finals.
Chairman Qureshi is excited about this: “This is a good tournament for masters players to get involved in, as they will be getting the chance to play in different conditions against players from other countries. Speaking to some of the players abs officials they are very excited to go over and get into battle.”
