January 15th, 2020 turned out to be an exciting day for Pakistan Cricket as Bangladesh’s tour to
Pakistan with 2 Tests, one ODI and three T20s got officially confirmed. This is groundbreaking
news for Pakistani cricket fans and the Pakistan Cricket Board itself as this series will be another
step towards revival of cricket in Pakistan.
The following is the schedule for the Bangladesh tour to Pakistan:
T20s January 24th to 27th, 2020 in Lahore
First Test match in Rawalpindi from February 7th till 11th, 2020.
Solitary ODI and the second Test match to take place in Karachi on April 3rd and 5th till
April 9th respectively.
Talking to Mr. Asser Malik from MLK Management and Ali Khan Tareen, the co-owner of Multan
Sultans franchise, both expressed their joy about the recent development and announced that
US All Stars tour will be rescheduled in the event of Bangladesh tour and the scheduled
Pakistan Super League, both set to take place throughout the month of February till early April;
US All Stars team was initially scheduled to tour Pakistan and play against Multan Sultans from
February 7th till 11th (which dates now overlap with the first Test between Bangladesh and
Pakistan) and recently got rescheduled to a later date after the conclusion of Pakistan Super
League; the tour is expected to be bigger and better as it will add to the international cricket
season in Pakistan and will be supported by the Pakistan Cricket Board itself.
