Qureshi starts the helping process

MARGATE/FL – USA: Chairman and CEO of Cricket Council USA (CCUSA), Mahammad Qureshi continues to put his money where his mouth is and has begun the process of donating money to the Coronavirus pandemic fight.

A couple of weeks ago the Fort Lauderdale businessman donated T20 Energy drinks by the cases to seven COVID 19 shelters in Broward and today he continues by spending his money is a bat auction that will lead to funds going directly to assist with the fight.

Speaking to News 925 Qureshi said: “I give decided to start by giving from the Maq Foundation $1000.00 to Jhan Nisar Khan for the good cause. He has started a fund for cricketers as he auctioning bats. He started off auctioning five and I picked it up for $1000.00.”

Qureshi says he will present these five bats to the five most promising players at the 2020 US Open T20 tournament which is carded from December 16 to 19 in Fort Lauderdale.

“I am giving the bats to the most promising players at the US Open T20, 2020 in December. I am happy to have assisted with this cause as we want to ensure that all our cricketers are well-taken care off.

“We at CCUSA care about people we will put our best efforts and cash towards supporting and bringing back our cricket.

“We all need to work together, support each other to successfully defeat this Coronavirus. I am making a clarion call to all cricket stakeholders to come out and help. Don’t just look on and see people suffer come out and help each other and we will be back to normal sooner.”
