MARGATE/FL – USA: Businessman Nauman Khan Azeemi says that he is grateful for the collaboration with the US All Stars and the Multan Sultans for the upcoming US Open T20 tournament that takes place at the Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale, USA, in December.
Khan who is the owner of the franchise Faisalabad Falcons will be joining the other two franchises in putting together one team at the 12th US Open and is looking forward to doing well in the tournament.  “This is a great opportunity for us as we will be sharing the expenses with the other parties involved, yet our players will be getting the chance to rub shoulders with some of the best players in the business.”
US All Stars captain Zishawn Qureshi will be the captain of the new All Stars/Falcons team at the tournament. He told 925 News that he is ready for the challenge. “Always a challenge to gel players from different teams and different countries but I have been able to do it before and is keen to do it again. It is a pleasure playing with new players and this combination of three franchises into one will bring forward a strong unit on and off the pitch. I intend to have the players do off-field activities that will bring them closer together, like a shopping day which has worked before.”
Qureshi, who lifted the coveted US Open T20 title in 2018, is hoping to take that success into this year’s tournament. “We have tasted success before and I am sure the other players have at some stage in their careers, so, all in all, we will put everything into the mix and hopefully get the winning combination.”
Khan said he will be flying players in and looking to ensure that all is taken care of. “I am keen to make sure that all Covid 19 protocols are followed because I will be bringing players from all over like Canada and Pakistan for this tournament.”
