We have already confirmed that Kamran Akmal will be flying in to represent us as well.”
The Punjab Blue which was formed back in 1995 in India will be taking part in their first US Open T20 tournament. According to Singh: “We formed this team back in India in 1995 and since then all of us have moved up to the United States and we decided to continue playing the cricket.
“We have a good team and we are looking to be very competitive at the US Open. We have heard a lot about the tournament, with it being the best tournament up here, and wanted to take part. We know that a lot of international stars come to this tournament, so we wanted to do battle with them. We have our fair share of talented players and we will be backing them to go out there and make us proud.”
