The five teams taking part in the U-17 category are Ontario Greens from Canada, Trinidad and Tobago Under-17, the United Arab Emirates U-17, Ontario Reds and Triangle CL. In the U-15 section there will be the Kumar Rampat Cricket Academy from Trinidad, Loudoun Club, TCL Top Guns and Washington DC.
So this year the youth action will take place amongst teams from the US, Canada, UAE and the West Indies. This is great news according to CEO of CCUSA Mahammad Qureshi : “We are very happy to welcome teams from outside the US. It means that our young players here can get great exposure by playing with these kids from other places.
“The quality of cricket at the youth level is normally high, so we want to wish all the boys the best and let’s have a look at the future of cricket at this tournament.”
