TAMPA/FL – USA: USA national player Steven Taylor was in brilliant form as he smashed 61 to take SAMP Army to a crushing 95-run win over Tampa Tigers in their President’s Cup clash at the Wesley Chapel cricket stadium on Saturday.
The aggressive Jamaican was in fine form and ran the fielders ragged with his brilliant batting. His 61 off just 30 balls was the cornerstone of the SAMPY Army effort as they scored 195/5 off their 20 overs. Taylor struck three sixes and eight fours in his knock, while Chandu Kasireddy made 57. All he required was 28 balls for his knock and it included six huge sixes and three fours.
When Tampa Tigers batted all they could manage was 100 all out in 15.5 overs. Aditya Gupta 3/16 and Swani Parikh 2/10  were the chief destroyers.
