Qureshi hammers 62 in Orlando


Orlando/FL – USA: All-rounder Zishawn Qureshi continued his fine season with yet another half-century as he guided Orlando Stars to another win in the Florida Cricket Conference on the weekend.
Playing at Winter Haven Orlando won the toss and decided to take first strike. Qureshi and his opening partner then added over 100 for the first wicket as their team tallied 233/4 in their allotted 35 overs. Qureshi who scored 44 last weekend cracked 62 with seven fours and one six. His partner Ammar Mohammed made 77 as they took control of the Winter Haven bowling.
The home side chasing 234 to win the match could only reach 186 all out with Qureshi bowling just two overs and taking 1/8.
Qureshi has been in a rich vein of form over the last eight months and he has put this down to hard work and playing on a regular basis.
