Florida International had a tough time at the 11th US Open T-20 Cricket Tournament as such they lost all three games before exiting the tournament. They faced CT Blizzards in the first match which was reduced to just 6 overs due to heavy rain hitting the state of Florida. Florida International won the toss and chose to field first. Their decision was not supported by their bowling unit as CT Blizzards managed a good total of 82 runs in just 6 overs with the loss of only one wicket at the run-rate of 13.67. Florida International could not chase the target and lost the match by 4 runs.

In the second match against UCT UAE, UCT UAE won the toss and chose to field first. Florida International managed 91 runs on the board with the loss of 7 wickets in 10 overs at 9.10 runs per over. This total did not seem to shake UCT UAE’s batting as they successfully chased the target with 4 balls to spare with the loss of 4 wickets at 9.86 runs per over.

Florida International faced one of the strongest teams in the 11th US Open Cricket: Multan Sultans-US All Stars in the third match. Multan Sultans-US All Stars won the toss and chose to field first. In 10 overs, Florida International managed 76 runs with the loss of 6 wickets at a run-rate of 7.60. This seemed too easy for Multan Sultans as they chased the target in just 5.5 overs at a run rate of 13.20 and loss of two wickets.
