MARGATE/FL – USA: Bowlers beware the broad bat of Zishawn Qureshi still has a lot of runs in it.
The hard hitting right hander has been in the pink of form this season and has been churning out the runs on a regular basis. Only recently he copped the batsman of the tournament in Tampa where he batted four times and was not dismissed. Prior to this has was making runs regularly in the domestic tournaments.
Speaking to 925 News he said:” I am continuing to enjoy my form at the moment and looking forward to making a lot more runs.”
What has made the difference for Qureshi? The South Florida resident said: “During the lockdown I was able to work on the mental aspect of my game and this is showing at the moment. This is one area that I needed to work on and I was able to do that.
“I still have some concerns over my fitness and intends to work on it in time for the US OPEN T20 tournament that gets off at the end of the year. I am really enjoying my game and want to continue doing well so that I can catch the eye of team owners.”
Qureshi will lead the combine US All Stars, Faisalabad Falcons and Multan Sultans combined team at the US OPEN.
