MARGATE/FL -USA: With just a couple weeks to go before the start of the 2020 Women’s Cricket59 tournament in Fort Lauderdale excitement is growing among the cricket population.
At this present time a number of players are finalising their travel arrangements to fly into the City for the matches. The tournament takes place from March 13 to 15 at the Maq Cricket Stadium in Boca.
Chairman of parent body Cricket Council USA CCUSA Mahammad Qureshi is happy with the preparations so far and looking forward to a bumper tournament. “It is good to see that we have gotten so much interest from the ladies for this tournament. We are investing a lot into this tournament at present and we are hoping that all goes well. In the final analysis what we are hoping to do is to lift women’s cricket in the United States and we are looking forward to inviting a number of cricketers from around the world who can assist in giving our women cricketer here good competition. This brand of cricket is exciting and we are hoping to attract more and more female cricketers to the sport.”
