BOCA RATON/FL – USA: President of Cricket West Indies (CWI) Ricky Skerritt has praised the efforts of the chairman of CCUSA Mahammad Qureshi in hosting the recently concluded US Open T20 tournament in Fort Lauderdale, USA.
Skerritt sent a message to Qureshi saying: “Well done, look at some of the cricket myself. Congratulations! Your never give up attitude is impressive.” Skerritt was honored by CCUSA in December 2019 for his work as an administrator and this was his first meeting with Qureshi, the long-standing administrator in American cricket. Since then both men have kept in contact as they share ideas on taking the game forward.
Also sending out congratulations was Justin Geale of American Cricket Enterprises and Tournament Director of Minor League who said: “Congrats to you on another successful US Open. I know how much work you and your team have put in to make it work.”
