Ali Khan to feature at US Open T20

MARGATE/FL – USA: American cricket’s poster boy Muhammad Ali Khan is to feature at the US Open T20 tournament which will be played at the Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale from December 15.
Information reaching 925 News is that the Kolkata Knight Riders player will be lining up with the US All Stars/Falcons/Multan team at the cash-rich tournament.
Khan has had a series of injuries which has affected him during the Caribbean Premier League and also the Indian Premier League. He left Abu Dhabi recently after he got a rib injury and is now home in Ohio resting ahead of the US Open T20. After a good CPL he was invited to play in the IPL by the KKR. He became the first player from America to feature in the tournament and, although he did not play he is still the first America to be on the IPL roster.
His inclusion at the US Open T20 has been welcomed by chairman and CEO of Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) Mahammad Qureshi. “We are very happy with the news that Ali is coming to play at the US Open. It is where he made a name for himself and got recognized, so it is nice to have him come home and play here after all that he has achieved.
“Ali is a great inspiration for all cricketers from America, so to have him play with them is really great.”
