Broward County, FL – [Insert Date] — The US Open Premier Cricket League is proud to welcome Eian Thomas as the Manager and Coach of the Dallas Smashers for the 2025 US Open Premier Cricket League, to be held from December 12 to 20, 2025, at the Central Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida.
Eian Thomas – Athlete | Leader | Visionary | Father
Eian Thomas is a dynamic Jamaican-born entrepreneur, wellness advocate, community leader, and passionate sportsman. Originally from St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, a region famous for nurturing some of the island’s finest athletes, Eian’s cricketing journey began at St. Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS), where he rose to prominence as one of Jamaica’s top schoolboy cricketers during the golden age of West Indies cricket.
A skilled all-rounder, Eian competed against future international stars such as Ricardo Powell, Leon Garrick, Chris Gayle, and Marlon Samuels. His performances reflected not only talent but also determination and discipline — qualities that became the foundation of his leadership both on and off the field.
He later captained the cricket team at the College of Agriculture, Science and Education (CASE) and served as Sports Coordinator in 2001, inspiring countless young athletes through mentorship and commitment to sports excellence.
After migrating to the United States, Eian became an influential figure in the South Florida cricket community. He played for Palm Cricket Club in the South Florida Premier Cricket League, where he also served as Vice President, before taking on his current role as President of Palm Beach Cricket Club. His dedication to developing grassroots cricket and empowering young players continues to strengthen the sport’s footprint in the region.
Eian’s leadership extends beyond the field. A long-standing member of Cricket Council USA (CCUSA), he served as Sporting Coordinator during the US Open Cricket Tournament held amid the global pandemic — a period that highlighted his resilience and unwavering commitment to the growth of cricket in the United States.
Outside the game, Eian is a registered nurse, a health and wellness advocate, and the CEO of TWRBON LLC, a global initiative that bridges agriculture, healthcare, sports, and community empowerment. His vision focuses on promoting antioxidant-rich living, advancing rural development, and creating youth opportunities through education, wellness, and entrepreneurship.
Above all, Eian is a devoted father of three, whose inspiration and family values drive his passion for building stronger, healthier communities in Jamaica, the United States, and beyond.
