Defending champions of the MCL Chicago Team USA rebounded nicely when they defeated Noor by 25 runs in their second game of the tournament at Warren Park in Chicago on Saturday.
Batting first Morshed Kalam slammed 50 and Jubir Ahmed 41 took USA to 151/5 off their allotted 15 overs. Also getting runs was Salman Hekim who made 36 opening the batting.
Ahzar Ali Syed took 2/28.
When Noor batted they struggled and got to only 126/7 in the end. Abdul Khan made 38 and Dawood Basharat 20. The pick of the bowlers for the USA was Mohammed Huda 3/30 and Syed Hassan 2/28.
