MARGATE/FL: USA – The very popular USA Nationals MaqT10 tournament originally carded from April 16 to 19 has been canceled due to the spread of the corona virus.
This was revealed by the chairman of CCUSA, Mahammad Qureshi. According to the administrator: “We have had no choice but to postpone our USA Nationals MaqT10 tournament due to the coronavirus pandemic. We have been informed by Broward County that the Central Broward Stadium will be closed off to the public and as a result, we will revisit the situation and set a later date for the tournament. I know that the players were really looking forward to the tournament but at this time we have to be aware of what is taking place and move accordingly.”
According to the release sent by the County: “Due to the COVID-19 World Pandemic and per the Broward County Administration effective immediately all organized sporting events scheduled at Central Broward Park & Stadium have been Canceled until further notice.
” As we are a public facility, we are taking necessary precautions under the direction of the State of Florida, Broward County Administration, and Florida Department of Health to ensure the safety of our patrons.
” Your schedule event for Sunday, April 19 in the Stadium will need to be canceled.”
