SUNRISE/FL – USA: Rizwan Cheema continued his prolific form with the bat on Saturday against the Ottawa Bulls as he took the US All Stars into the semi-finals of the MaqT10 USA Nationals at the Central Broward Regional Park.
Cheema was brilliant in striking his third half century as he took his team to 128 for three of 10 overs. Cheema scored 58 off 20 balls and got his half century off 16 balls. The mighty Canadian struck five fours and five sixes in his knock. Whilst he was at the crease, the US All Stars looked on course for over 150 but when he fell they were restricted to 128 for three. Fellow opener Fahad Babar who was drafted from the Chicago Catchers scored an unbeaten 55. Varoon Haresh was good with the ball and grabbed 3/9.
When Bulls batted they were restricted to 94 for eight in their 10 overs with Rajbill Gill getting 30 and Amrik Singh 30. Farhan Ali took 2/19 and Rajesh Sharma 2/19.
