SUNRISE/FL – USA: Tampa Tigers are through to the quarter-finals of the MaqT10 USA Nationals after their seven-wicket victory over the Chicago Catchers at the Central Broward Regional Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.

Catchers with a top score of 25 from Shiraz Najam, 20 from Timmy Surujbally and 16 from CCUSA chairman Maq Qureshi, reached 88 for six off their 10 overs. Their bowlers then brought them back into the contest and Tigers needed 31 runs from the last three overs. It went down to the last over with nine runs needed but Pani Teja was too good for the Catchers taking them home at 89 for three with two balls to spare.  He ended unbeaten on 44 and Abdullah Shiek made 23. Pacer Adam Khan bowled well taking 2/9 but his efforts were not enough to stop the defeat. Catchers ended the tournament with one win from three matches.
