KARACHI, September 19, 2018 (News925.com) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Wednesday a 15-member squad for the upcoming cricket series against Australia and Bangladesh.
Pakistan women cricket team will tour Bangladesh and then host Australian women cricket team under the captaincy of Javeria Wadood in the absence of Bismah Maroof, who is unavailable for selection due to a surgery.
The PCB’s Women National Selection Committee under former Test cricket Jalaluddin announced the squad. Jalaluddin said that Bismah Maroof would be considered to lead Pakistan against Australia but her inclusion would be subject to her full recovery.
Pakistan women cricket team will take on Bangladesh women cricket team in a four-match Twenty20 International series and a one-off One Day International in Khulna, Bangladesh from October 1-8, 2018.
Pakistan women cricket team will host Australia women cricket team in a three-match One Day International series and a three-match Twenty20 International series from October 18-29, 2018 in Malaysia.
Pakistan’s women squad includes Javeria Wadood (captain), Bibi Nahida, Ayesha Zafar, Muneeba Ali Siddiqui, Sidra Amin, Omaima Sohail, Nida Rashid, Sidra Nawaz, Sana Mir, Nashra Sundhu, Anum Amin, Natalia Parvaiz, Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, and Aiman Anwar.
Pakistan’s reserve players are Kainat Imtiaz, Iram Javed, Fareeha Mehmood, Ghulam Fatima, and Saba Nazir.
