New coach appointed at CCUSA Academy

MARGATE/FL – USA: A new coach has been appointed for the Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) Academy at the Maq Stadium in Delray Beach Florida, USA.
The highly experienced Shezan Ahmed comes on board at a critical time in the United States cricket. Chairman and CEO of CCUSA Mahammad Qureshi said that the appointment comes at a time when cricketers have been inactive, and they are yearning to get back into the park. “We are happy to announce the arrival of Shezan Ahmed to the setup. He will take over as head coach of the CCUSA Academy and will be working with all players from young to old to help them improve their game and get to where they want to be.”

The 53-year old Ahmed played three First Class matches for Karachi as a left-arm orthodox spinner and left-handed batsman. He has a wealth of experience behind him having been a certified coach by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the last 15 years.
Among his coaching experience is working at the Asif Iqbal Cricket Academy, the Ashgar Ali Shah Cricket Academy, the Rashid Latiff Cricket Academy, the Moin Khan Cricket Academy, the National Bank Cricket Academy and also coached the Karachi Cricket Association Under-19 team.
