Gayle to feature at US Open T20

MARGATE/FL – USA: The Universe Boss Chris Gayle will feature at this year’s US Open T20 tournament which will be played from December 15 to 20 at the Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale.
The West Indies T20 superstar will line up for Atlanta Param Veers at the tournament which is in its 12th year of operation. Gayle recently played at the Indian Premier League in the United Arab Emirates with King’s XI Punjab. It will be his first outing at the US Open T20.
The Atlanta Param Veers will be led by Rayad Emrit who played at the Caribbean Premier League with St. Kitts/Nevis Patriots. Also on the squad is West Indies T20 players in fast bowler Kesrick Williams and spinner Fabien Allen.
The Trinbago Knight Riders spin twin of Akeal Hosein and Khary Pierre are also included as well as the former South African all-rounder Wayne Parnell.
New Zealander Corey Anderson who this week made the move to play for the United States is also getting his first taste of action at the US Open with this team. US player Steven Taylor is packed in there as well.
All in all, this is a very strong team and they are in Group B with the likes of 22 Yards, Afghan Zwanan, and Brampton Pacers.
