MARGATE/FL – USA: Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) is doing its part in assisting with the fight against the dreaded Covid 19 virus as the organization has decided to supply T20 Energy Drinks to workers who are out there working 24 hours a day.

This was revealed by the chairman of CCUSA Mahammad Qureshi on Wednesday. The Fort Lauderdale businessman came up with the T20 Energy drink some years ago and it is used during the tournaments hosted by CCUSA, namely the US Open T20 and the Maq USA National T10 tournament.

The popular energy drink will now be distributed to seven shelters in Broward where workers can now use. According to Qureshi: “We are supplying a lot of our T20 energy drinks to the seven shelters in Broward County because we realize that the workers need to be energized during this period. Sometimes they are up for 24 hours making sure that patients are well-taken care of. We are just doing our part to bring some kind of assistance.

“This is a very trying period for everyone especially the caregivers and as such, they need all the support that they can get. We are happy to be of assistance. We continue to open our arms as a sporting body to assist in any way we can and we will continue to look at ways to assist moving forward.

“Our prayers are with those that are affected by this situation and we hope that it is brought under control soon.”
