BOCA RATON/FL – USA: The very popular MAQ T10 tournament will be played in April this year at the Central Broward Regional Cricket Stadium in Fort Lauderdale.This is the news coming to hand from chairman of Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) Mahammad Qureshi on Wednesday.He declared that the third edition of the MAQ T10 USA Nationals will take place from April 17 to 19.
This tournament comes on the heels of the very popular US Open T20 tournament that was played in December last year. According to Qureshi :”We have already met as an executive and decided that the best time to host the MAQ T10 USA Nationals is mid-April. We have opened registration for this tournament already and teams interested in taking part should contact out offices and use electronic communications with our officials.”This tournament is very popular because it is a 10-over tournament and fans get action from ball one. They look to hit Maq sixes from the start and this is thrilling.
We have held the USA Nationals for many years but this time around it will only be the third time that we are hosting it as a 10/10 format.”Due to the success we have had over the first two editions we are here again using our resources to make this a reality for the players.”The successful businessman added :” This is yet another opportunity that the players are getting to face stiff competition as they look to develop their game.”
