MARGATE/FL – USA: All rounder Zishawn Qureshi has been announced on the 2019 Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 draft.
Qureshi is one of 13 players from America who have registered in the draft and will be available for any of the six franchises when the draft takes place later this month in London. Qureshi recently led the US All Stars to the USA Nationals T10 title. Included in the draft is the popular Ali Khan who was a standout player for the champions Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) last year and Jaskaran Malhotra who played for the St. Lucia Stars in 2018.
Both Ali Khan and Malhotra played under captain Qureshi in the US Open T20 tournament in Fort Lauderdale last year. Qureshi was at the helm of the US All Stars who were knocked out at the semi-final stages on the back of a whirlwind century from Andre Russell.
