South African cricketer Colin Ingram says he is ready for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 in the “very spirited country” of Pakistan.

In a video message released by his PSL franchise Islamabad United, Ingram has also reminded cricket fans in Pakistan to reserve their tickets before “they’re all sold out”.

“It is going to be a fantastic experience again. It’s great to be coming back to a very spirited country,” said the 34-year-old top-order batsman from Port Elizabeth.

“I think it is going to be an iconic tournament and historic as well. It has been playing at different venues in Pakistan for the first time,” added Ingram, who represented South Africa in 31 ODIs and 9 T20Is before signing a Kolpak deal to represent Glamorgan.

Ingram had represented Karachi Kings and scored 587 runs in 22 innings before moving to Islamabad United. His 127* off 59 against Quetta Gladiators at Sharjah last year remains the highest individual score of Pakistan Super League.

He now hopes to replicate those performances in Islamabad colours.

“I am really looking forward to, and If you don’t want to miss out then don’t forget to book your tickets. See you all soon, Tayyar Hain,” he concluded.
