TRADEWINDS/FL – USA: Chairman of Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) Mahammad Qureshi turned back the clock when he showed up at the Tradewinds Park, leading his team Atlantic to victory over Caribbean Internationals by three wickets in the South Florida Premier league.

Batting first, Caribbean Internationals made 121/5 off their 20 overs. Leading the way was Malcolm Fisher who scored 51 runs with the help of six fours and two sixes.

Caribbean Internationals lost four early wickets, reaching 44/4 before Terry Mills joined Fisher. Mills ended with 26 not out having struck two fours and one six. The pick of the bowlers for Atlantic was Leecent Blake who took 2/19.

When Atlantic took to the crease, Qureshi and Andrew Ashman took charge and added 48 runs for the first wicket in nine overs. Qureshi was quick off the blocks and attacked the bowlers early. He fell for 24 with four fours and Ashman, who also struck four fours made 29. After they fell a couple quick wickets followed before skipper Priyantha Liyanage with the controlled 17 took them to the win.
