London comes back calling

London United Cricket Club stormed back into contention for a place in the knockout stage of the 2019 MaqT10 USA Nationals when they defeated Royal Shields by 29 runs in the fourth match of the tournament at the Central Broward Regional Park, Friday.

After losing their first game to Atlantic Cricket Club in the morning, the Londoners knew that another loss would see them exit the tournament at the first stage. Batting first they got 36 from captain Mehran Khan to reach 102 for five off their 10 overs.

Kamran Younus who starred in the first game with 86 runs, then turned bowler, taking three wickets for eight runs to restrict Shields to 73 for five off their 10 overs.
