For the first time ever, Pakistan Super League is being staged exclusively in Pakistan with four venues being engaged in total; namely: Multan, Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi stadiums. In total, 34 matches are being held in the span of 32 days. Interestingly, the spectator response has been massive especially in Karachi.
More importantly, the broadcasters that play an important part in engaging worldwide audience have been instrumental in promoting the Pakistan Super League as such` the news broadcasters in more than 115 countries are playing match highlights with partnership of SNTV. According the PCB’s official press release, the live coverage of the event is available with 12 countries via 7 licensees and throughout the world via cricketgateway.com, flowsports.co and rabbithole, which are live streaming partners.
Surely, the league will help Pakistan Cricket develop its participation pool and bring international cricket back to Pakistan with the participation of so many foreign players from different countries. Moreover, the league will help the quenched spectators witness great games of cricket being produced in their own country.
