Brampton meets Afghan in US Open T20 opener

MARGATE/FL – USA: Canada’s Brampton Pacers will open their bid for glory at the 2020 US Open T20 tournament against Afghan Zwanan on day one of the tournament carded for December 15 at the Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale.
Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) the parent body for this tournament revealed the fixtures on Monday and the six days of action will see competitive matches.
The tournament starts at 10 am on December 15 with Brampton Pacers against Afghan Zwanan. This will be followed by another clash involving Atlanta Param Veers against 22 Yards at 1.30 pm.
The evening clash will see Somerset Cavaliers against Swamp Army.
The two teams not in action on day one are the US All Stars and Punjab Blues.
They will meet on day two at 1.30 pm. Prior to this match, Atlanta Param Veers will battle Brampton Pacers. The last match on day two will feature 22 Yards against Afghan Zwanan.
The action continues with another three matches on the 17 and preliminary round play will finish on December 18. The semis will be played the following day and the grand final alone has been set for December 20, when the curtain comes down on the tournament.
