BOCA RATON/FL – USA: A total of eight teams will do battle for the 2023 Maq T10/ USA Nationals title when the tournament bowls off on April 27 at the upgraded Maq Cricket Stadium in Palm Beach, Florida.

The tournament which has become very popular over the years and an essential item on the domestic cricket calendar in the US, will carry a winning purse of US$10,000. It falls under the umbrella of Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) which has administered cricket in the US for the past two decades.

The eight teams will be split into two groups of four and will play each other in a round-robin format. The two top teams from each group will then advance to the semi-finals with the respective winners each making the finals to battle for the grand prize.

Chairman of CCUSA Mahammad Qureshi speaking to News925 said the tournament has been shifted to his cricket stadium in Palm Beach. “We have decided to shift the tournament to my cricket stadium in Palm Beach because of the bad weather and flooding that has affected the Broward area recently.”

Last week rain poured down on the Broward area and they received their national rainfall average in just three days. This caused tremendous damage and as a matter of caution Qureshi is taking the tournament further North where the weather has been kinder.

This is the 10th edition of the tournament and promises to be the most exciting of all.
