ARKANSAS/USA – World Stars suffered their second loss as action in the Arkansas MCL 2023 continued at Roger’s Park on Saturday.
World Stars lost their opening match to Mavericks on Friday and needed to defeat Udaan to stay in the competition however it was not to be. Batting first World Stars made only 103 all out in 17.4 overs. Top scoring was Abbas Awan with 28. All rounder Morshed Kalam made 19 but all the others struggled. The best of the bowlers for Udaan was Kushal Patel who followed up his 5/1 in the morning against Titans with 4/26. Adarsh Sunkari grabbed 2/13 and Aditya Koukuntla 2/16.
Leading the run chase for Udaan Giresh Nammi who made 36 and Vamsi Bekkam 20. Udaan reached their target at 104/3 off 13 overs and booking themselves a place in the finals with their second win on the trot.
