The anxiety leading up to the 14th edition of the US Open T20 tournament is no more as the International Cricket Council (ICC) has sanctioned the tournament with the backing of USA Cricket. Interim CEO of USA Cricket Vinay Bhimjiani wrote to chairman of CCUSA Mahammad Qureshi indicating that USA Cricket has sanctioned the tournament and a note will be sent to the ICC.
