BOCA RATON/FL – USA: the Inaugural Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) Women’s Cricket59 tournament will be played from March 13 to 15 at the Maq Cricket Stadium in Boca Raton, USA and there is still room for cricketers to register and become part of what is expected to be a historic event.
Checks with CCUSA officials reveal that there is still time for entire teams and even individuals to register to be part of the tournament. Sofian Qamar operations manager at CCUSA explains: “We still have time for players and teams to register. We are about cricket development and although last-minute registration is a bit stressful for us, we look at the bigger picture because we want players to hit the park.
“We have time still and I want to urge players to come on board. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity. Depending on the response we get for this tournament, I know that the chairman Mr. Mahammad Qureshi would want to make it bigger and better next time. So it is up to the cricketers to come here and address him with good cricket and he will take it to the next level.”
