MARGATE/FL – USA: The popular Maq T10 USA Nationals will be played from April 17 to 19 at the Central Broward Regional Cricket Stadium and the Maq Cricket Stadium in Florida USA.
The popular tournament which is hosted by Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) is in its fourth year and is now looked upon as the fastest most exciting version to hit the United States. Teams have already been contacting CCUSA offices since the start of the year and now registration is open. Those interested can log on to www.cricketcouncilusa.com to complete their registration so that they don’t miss out on this exciting competition.
Registration for this tournament is set at just $500 and with that, you get clothing and refreshments at the ground. CCUSA chairman Mahammad Qureshi is welcoming all teams. “We have not set a cut off in terms of the number of teams that we are taking in, so we are encouraging as many teams to register into our system. This is all about development so the more teams we have coming in, the better it is for cricket in America. Now with the Maq Stadium up to a great standard, it gives us an additional option of staging matches there as well, so we can take in more teams.
“It is always my dream for more and more people to play cricket in America, so I am thrilled that we can have a great number of teams taking part.”
