DSport to air US Open T20

LAUDERHILL, USA: Indian sports television network Discovery Communications through their frequency DSport will air the 2018 US Open T20 tournament ‘live’ in India.
This was the word from CEO and co-founder of US Open T20, Mahammad Qureshi. He said the December 12 to 16 tournament, which has attracted some of the top names in the T20 fraternity will now be available to the viewers not only in India but across the subcontinent.
Discovery has a strong reputation for nourishing audiences on a global scale and this fits in nicely with the US Open T20, which is in its 10th year of operation.
DSPORT will not only broadcast live in the in the Indian market but also serve audiences across the sub-continent.
Qureshi says that this exposure is tremendous for cricketers from the United States and also those foreigners who will be taking part in the tournament. “We need to assist the US players by getting them the exposure and also all our committed foreign players, who have been with us over the years, will also get a chance to have their performances showcased to the world.
“We are very happy to enter into this agreement with DSport and we have invested in this project because we want the players to be seen by all the scouts around the world, so that they can get more opportunities.”
A number of world class players will be on show at the world class facility, Central Broward Regional Park. Among the players coming to showcase their talent will be Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Evin Lewis, Faisal Iqbal, Muhammad Ali Khan, Wayne Parnell, Rayad Emrit and Samuel Badree.
